2025 Toyota Camry vs. 2024 Toyota Camry
Performance
Hybrid Powertrain
The new 2025 Toyota Camry lineup is completely redesigned and now it is only available with a hybrid powertrain. All the new 2025 Camry models use a powertrain that pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, with one motor on the front axle and one motor on the rear axle. This system produces 225-horsepower and 232 pounds-feet of torque, providing you with a strong and engaging performance that makes driving to Franklin and anywhere across the country easy and engaging.
The previous 2024 Toyota Camry Hybrid lineup was a separate model from the gas-powered Camry models. 2024 Camry Hybrid models used the same 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, but fell short of the new performance with 208-horsepower.
Standard All-Wheel Drive
A large advantage offered in every new 2025 Toyota Camry model is that all models now come with standard all-wheel drive, providing you with the best possible traction, control, and handling, especially when you’re driving in poor weather conditions or on more rugged terrain. This gives you more confidence and freedom to travel wherever you want to go. The previous 2024 Camry Hybrid models did not come with standard all-wheel drive.
Fuel Economy
The new hybrid powertrain system in the new 2025 Toyota Camry models have higher estimated fuel economy than the 2024 Toyota Camry Hybrid models, letting you travel further around Abbeville and beyond before needing to fill up again.
Technology Features
If you want to drive a new hybrid car that supports all your technology and devices, the redesigned 2025 Toyota Camry lineup has you covered with an upgraded state-of-the-art infotainment system. The 2025 Camry LE and SE models now use a standard 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, featuring standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The previous 2024 Camry lineup comes with a standard 7-inch touchscreen display and wireless smartphone integration is only available on higher trim levels.
You don’t have to worry about plugging your phone in and dealing with the clutter of wires running throughout your interior to charge your phone, as all the new 2025 Toyota Camry models come with a wireless charging pad that lets you set your phone down and get your battery back to 100%. A wireless charging pad is available on the highest trim levels of the 2024 Camry Hybrid lineup.
Safety Features
Both the new 2025 Toyota Camry models and the previous Camry Hybrid models have a full suite of driver assistance features. For 2025, all the new Camry models come with blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, features that didn’t come standard on 2024 models.
